As a young man growing up in rural Central Michigan Jason had always envisioned himself in a career deeply rooted in the outdoor industry. Growing up in the agricultural farmlands of the Midwest, combined with Jason’s love of hunting and the outdoors proved to be a key combination in pursuing this career path. After high school Jason was hired by a Midwestern distributing company called Best Outdoors, to work as a territory sales manager representing wildlife nutrition products and agricultural implements. It was during this time that Jason began developing an idea that would eventually become Non-Typical Properties. Today Non-Typical Properties operates in seven states throughout the Midwest and affords sportsman everywhere the opportunity to tap into some of the regions great resources. Aside from hunting and working Jason enjoys playing sports, watching sports, spending time with loved ones, and being involved in his local church.

Over the last 30 years Mike has been very active in the pursuit of trophy animals. In fact, this passion has taken him across the map to places such as Alabama, South Dakota, Nebraska, Colorado, Iowa, Quebec, Wyoming and Montana. You can often find Mike however, in a Central Indiana woodlot chasing whitetails and turkeys. Mike is a member of the Quality Deer Management Association of Indiana and also works at Meadows Gun Shop of Hagerstown Indiana. When he’s not in the woods, Mike enjoys spending time with his wife of 35 years Peggy, along with their children and grandchildren. Mike considers his biggest accomplishments to be raising his family, and giving his life to Christ.

For 22 years Ben Thomson has been afoot throughout the country hunting various species of game.

Ben's lifelong passion for hunting began at the age of 5, tagging along with his father through the woods of Louisiana. Since moving to Southern Illinois, Ben has made sure to tap into all the region has to offer, from trophy quality deer and turkeys, to rabbit, dove, and waterfowl. Aside from Illinois, Ben has hunted in the states of: Louisiana, Texas, Mississippi, and Missouri. Ben and his wife Sarah have three children Dylan, Kaylee, and Emma. When he's not hunting, Ben enjoys to fish and golf.
